Under Russell the Watchtower taught that white skin was the original color of mankind. In one Watchtower a story was recounted of a black man praying that his skin would turn white. He got his wish.
Another Watchtower (Russell?), in addressing itself to its black audience, said that in a little short time all skins would be white. This was said because black Bible Students were complaining about the fact that they were segregated in their meetings.

i haven't been on an exjw site for months and months.
i frankly am way past the point where i define myself as an exjw, i am who i am and it doesn't have really anything to do with the way i was raised or spent a considerable portion of my life, i also refuse to be bound by witness requirements as to leaving, contact with witnesses, or some kind of responsibility to whack people who seem perfectly happy as witnesses over the head with 'the truth about the truth'.
i have recently run in to a few people that seems to simply obsess with their lives as witnesses and why they left and in some cases the way they were treated or mistreated, or the need to "do" something.
I got past the exJW identity shortly after my d'f. Unfortunately, I live in a large apartment complex which is populated by JWs including inactive/d'f. Whenever I see one, which is all the time, I sometimes regress to both my JW persona and/or the exJW self for a short while.
so i was wondering what book is the nuttiest they ever printed?
i know there are several in contention for first place but which is your vote for no 1?
also if you don't mind post a bit of what is in the book you pick to show why you picked it.

an almost 3-year old was watching a video on an obsolete phone given to him by his mama.. the video was of the joker manhandling spider man, the tyke's hero.. the villain and the hero were in a driveway that was similar to that of the house where tyke lived.. he handed the phone to his grandma, stating, "hold my iphone, grandma, while i go outside.".
"to beat up the joker because he's getting on my nerves!".
true story that i personally witnessed..

just a heads-up that i will be testing some updates this evening.. the nature of the changes means it's difficult to test every scenario in advance offline (translation: it's a lot more effort and i just can't be bothered) so i'm going to go with the "wing-it" approach:.
deploy, check for errors, try to fix errors before anyone else notices them.. i can switch between the new and old version pretty quickly so if there are significant issues, i'll rollback and revert the changes while i work on the fixes.
worse case is the pages won't display quite right (dates might be a giveaway) but a full page refresh should fix things.. http://www.refreshyourcache.com/en/home/.
